It’s been a few years since we’ve taken anything to the Diva’s with conflicts to schedule.  Sales in general are rare for us so when we go, we want to bring ones that will leave a lasting impression.  The Goat sired a great set of Babies here and at Rules.  2300’s pedigree is ideal in our program and most of our Donors today are Fat Jesus ewes or daughters of them.  This ewe is cool to look at, handles like a dream, she’ll be a big time show ewe and exceptional donor.   The Grand at San Antonio this year was out of a first time lamber of a Fat Jesus Donor.

I’m known at home for being a hoarder of ewes, completely unfair allegation as we will sell 120+ ewes a year.  I just don’t like selling ewe lambs, never have and old habits die hard.  I told Calvin to pick a couple out and his text to me when he sheared them was “you’re not going to like selling these”.   I’ve begrudgingly agreed to sell 2 of them.    I think 2314 could run with the boys at most jackpots and then come fall be a big time female.  Same ewe family as our earlier lot and the Great grand dam Impact 1065 is AK-47’s mom.   Impact 1065 was also a Donor and has a couple daughters in the flush program now.
